This journey links Zimbabwe and Botswana, offering an in-depth view of southern Africa’s most productive ecosystems. Beginning at Mana Pools on the Zambezi River, guests explore an environment famed for its floodplains, walking safaris, and elephants that stretch on hind legs to reach the winterthorn canopy. The itinerary continues to Victoria Falls, where the world’s largest falling curtain of water marks a natural pause in the safari before crossing into Botswana.

From there the trip follows the wildlife corridors of the Selinda Reserve, known for its predator concentrations, before ending deep within the Okavango Delta’s seasonal wetlands. The sequence highlights the contrast between riverine woodlands, semi-arid savannah, and permanent swamps, each home to unique assemblages of wildlife. A short flight and road transfer brings you to River Island Suites, set upriver from the falls. Days balance visits to the cataract with time exploring the Zambezi by boat, learning about its role in trade and seasonal ecology. Selinda Reserve

Continue by light aircraft into Selinda, a private reserve linking the Okavango Delta to the Chobe system.
