Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be greeted by your dedicated driver and guide. They will facilitate your transfer to Galton House, ensuring a smooth start to your journey.

Sossusvlei

Depart Windhoek for a four-and-a-half-hour drive southwest to the Sossusvlei dunes in the Namibrand Nature Reserve, passing Naukluft National Park en route. Stay two nights at Hoodia Desert Lodge, your base for exploring Sossusvlei.

The following morning, join your guide to traverse the Tsauchab River bed, using 4x4s in sandy areas. Discover local wildlife such as springbok and oryx, and hike to Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei along quieter trails for a more intimate experience.

Swakopmund

Depart Sossusvlei and journey north through Namib-Naukluft National Park, passing Walvis Bay on the way to Swakopmund. The scenic drive takes four to five hours, depending on stops. Upon arrival, check into Namib Guesthouse for a two-night stay. In Swakopmund, mornings offer options such as desert tours, sandboarding, or quad biking, typically wrapping up by midday. Later, explore the flamingo colony, visit the local museum, or take a swim. For a slower pace, enjoy a guided walking tour and a relaxed lunch, followed by an afternoon swim or museum visit.

Damaraland

Travel north from Swakopmund to Damaraland, passing through the Tsiseb Conservancy. The drive typically takes about three hours, depending on your pace and stops. Upon arrival, check into Onduli Ridge, your base for the next two nights. Set in Damaraland’s striking landscape, Onduli Ridge offers panoramic views. To the south, you’ll see the towering Brandberg, Namibia’s highest peak, while to the north, scattered granite inselbergs create a dramatic backdrop. Explore the area with your private driver and guide.

Etosha National Park

Begin your journey to Etosha National Park, traveling east and then north through the town of Outjo. After a two-hour drive, arrive at Ongava, a private conservancy south of Etosha, where you’ll stay at Anderssons for three nights. At Anderssons, you can engage with resident scientists and conservationists or observe the nearby waterhole from the comfort of the lodge. Alternatively, unwind in your suite or enjoy the photographic hide and pool.

Zannier Reserve

Leaving Etosha National Park you will make your way south, heading back towards the capital city of Windhoek. This is a long drive of between five to six hours allowing for stops along the way. So as to avoid staying in Windhoek again, you will instead stay on The exclusive Zannier Reserve for one night before departing the following morning

Depart Windhoek

Spend the morning at your leisure, or enjoying the private Zannier Reserve with your guide. Then transfer back to Windhoek in time for your international departure flight.
