A Multi Activity Journey Through Serengeti National Park
As you journey through Northern Tanzania on this safari, you will have the unique opportunity to explore one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife areas in a variety of ways.
From traversing the parks on foot or by bicycle, to traditional game drives, you will be able to fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings and experience the beauty of the landscape from multiple perspectives.
Daily Summary
Day 1
Arrive into Arusha
As you arrive into Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to the comfortable Rivertrees Country Inn, a short drive of approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

Day 2
Travel to Lake Manyara
Departing early in the morning, as you travel east to Lake Manyara National Park, a spectacular region of the Great Rift Valley, home to elephant, cape buffalo, giraffe, impala and zebra, hippo and many other species.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
Start with a morning walk along the shores of Lake Manyara itself, later after consulting your guiding team there will be the chance to enjoy a number of game drive options, a refreshing swim in the rock pools and a cold beer by the waterfalls near camp.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Highlands
This morning we will leave our lakeside location for the Ngorongoro Highlands. On our way to this contrasting area of northern Tanzania there will be the opportunity to enjoy a walk along an elevated walkway through the canopy of the forest.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Another early start this morning, as we climb the side of Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater floor itself, the iconic feature of The Great Rift Valley, home to year round wildlife populations.

Day 6
Serengeti National Park
After a campfire breakfast this morning, we will enjoy a game drive from our camp in Ngorongoro and continue north, to a remote area of the park, depending on the season this will either be in southern or northern Serengeti.

Day 7
Serengeti National Park
Today we expore this remote area of Serengeti on foot and by game drives. Guided by some of the most highly trained safari guides in the country, you can observe wildlife both from the vehicle and from a safe distance on foot.

Day 8
Serengeti National Park
The intention on this day is to track The Great Migration, either in southern or northern Serengeti depending on the season. Travel among the herds of wildebeest as they make their way in search of the grazing that drives their annual migratory routes.

Day 9
Return to Arusha / Depart
Time for a final morning spent exploring the park with your guiding team before taking a short light aircraft flight (Cessna C208) back to Arusha in time for your departure flight from Kilimanjaro.
